NSH Training-2-Recruit Program
ChipXPRT (Private) Limited, a National University of Sciences and Technology (NUST) spinoff, has signed a strategic partnership contract with National Semiconductor Hub, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to train the people in the area of Semiconductor Chip Design at King Abdulaziz City of Science and Technology (KACST), Riyadh.
It is an extensive and rigorous Training Program spanning over a period of 8 months covering Common Core, Design Verification, Physical Design and a Tapeout Project. An important highlight of this program is imparting soft skills that are critical in working within cross-cultural teams.
It was a proud moment with the First Training Batch by NSH and Research, Development and Innovation Authority (RDI), where we welcomed 50 talented engineers, carefully selected to embark on their chip design journey with ChipXPRT (Private) Limited. It was an honor to have the Chairman of NSH, Naveed Sherwani, with us, who joined our dedicated ChipXPRT Training Team, led by Dr. Abid Rafique all united in our shared mission. A big shout-out to our trainees for their passion and commitment, and a heartfelt thank you to NSH for their trust and partnership.
It is certainly a great step towards strengthening bilateral ties between the two countries, Pakistan and KSA. Together, we're building the workforce of the future for the semiconductor industry!
