Secure VPN Box

Overview

The Secure VPN Box is a dedicated hardware device designed to establish secure, encrypted communication tunnels between networks, ensuring privacy and data integrity across untrusted environments like the internet. It provides a reliable and high-performance VPN solution for enterprises, remote workers, or IoT devices, offering robust encryption, multi-protocol support (such as IPSec, OpenVPN, and WireGuard), and centralized security controls. By offloading VPN tasks from general-purpose servers, a secure VPN box minimizes system load, ensures data protection through secure tunneling, and supports features like firewall integration, secure boot, and multi-factor authentication. This makes it ideal for protecting sensitive data, maintaining privacy, and bypassing censorship in environments where security is paramount.

Dive into the Details

01

K2-C3 System on Chip (SoC)

The K2-C3 SoC powers the Secure VPN Box and is built around a RISC-V processor core with integrated Crypto Accelerator and support for Post Quantum Cryptography (PQC). It includes a Vector Processor for AI acceleration tasks such as real-time intrusion detection. Ethernet peripheral support is embedded for direct handling of IP packet reception and transmission, enabling seamless encapsulation and tunneling via VPN protocols in secure network environments.

02

Software for Secure VPN Configuration

The software platform provides a comprehensive and user-friendly interface to configure, monitor, and manage the Secure VPN Box. It allows setup of VPN protocols (IPSec, OpenVPN, WireGuard), encryption keys, user access, firewall rules, and routing policies. The system supports web-based and CLI access, automated certificate handling, remote updates, and integration with authentication systems like LDAP and RADIUS—ensuring secure, scalable deployment from enterprises to remote IoT networks.
